Vision Rx is available in additive-free capsules with 60 in each bottle.
Indications
Most of us take good vision for granted - until something goes wrong and our vision is lost or compromised. Many conditions, which affect good eye health, are degenerative in nature and are preventable.
cience now acknowledges that glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and most eye problems can be eased, if not prevented, with a healthy diet and proper nutritional supplementation.
Vision Rx is the balanced blend of traditional herbs and clinically proven nutrients for optimal eye health.
Contraindications
None known.
Eyesight
Eyesight is one of the most exquisite and sophisticated engineering feats. The process by which we see is so complex that even the most talented scientists do not fully understand its workings.
As we grow older, the components of this process break down and wear out, leaving our eyes vulnerable to a host of diseases. These afflictions can rob us of the gift of sight through debilitating degeneration, eventually
leading to total blindness.
Vision Rx is a synergistic blend of herbs, nutrients, and antioxidants designed specifically for vision protection and improvement.
Recent scientific studies indicate the herbs; nutrients and antioxidants in Vision Rx can assist in promoting healthy eyesight. Vision loss is often related to damage caused by free radicals. These highly reactive
molecules bind to and destroy body components. Found in chemicals in our foods, pollutants in our water and air as well as fumes in our homes, free radials are everywhere. Our bodies are bombarded by millions of these toxins every day and, as a result of
their dependence on light to function properly, the eyes are especially vulnerable to free radical attack. Paradoxically, while this light enables us to see, it also creates more free radicals thereby heightening cell and membrane damage.
Bilberry
High in vitamins C and A, Bilberry also contains high levels of anthocyanosides (a bioflavonoid complex). Bilberry helps maintain normal nighttime vision, supports visual adaptation to light, and reduces macular
degeneration, nearsightedness, and diabetic retinopathy. The anthocyanosides Bilberry contains support the health of the eye and circulatory system by supporting healthy connective tissue formation, strengthening the walls of blood vessels, reducing
inflammation, providing antioxidant activity, and improving micro-circulation.
Eyebright
Internal use of this herbaceous plant shows it to be a supportive tonic to ocular tissue. Eyebright helps to quickly remedy eyelid inflammation, conjunctivitis, and other eye irritations.
Although little scientific research has been done, investigations revealed that preparations of Eyebright provide rapid relief for red and inflamed eye irritations. This white-flowering herb has also been successful at
preventing further corneal damage to recent eye injury sufferers.
Zinc
Macular degeneration is one of the most common causes of vision loss in the elderly. Supplements of Zinc can help preserve vision in eyes that have developed macular degeneration. Evidence indicates that ensuring
you obtain your daily dietary requirement of zinc over many years may reduce the risk of developing macular degeneration later in life.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a vitamin-like antioxidant that is soluble in both fat and water. ALA is capable of regenerating several other antioxidants back to their active states, including vitamin C, vitamin E,
glutathione and coenzyme Q10. A powerful antioxidant itself, ALA protects nerves from the ravages of free radical attacks.
Vitamin C
The eye is particularly vulnerable to damage by the free radicals that accumulate throughout our daily lives. Coming from things in our environment like auto exhaust, cigarettes and air pollution, free radicals
oxidize cells in the retina causing damage. Vitamin C is a powerful water-soluble antioxidant. It is thought that adequate amounts of antioxidant phytochemicals, such as vitamin C, can offer some protection from free radical damage, stabilize affected
cells and possibly reverse some cell damage.
Beta Carotene
Beta-carotene is a carotenoid anti-oxidant, which the body converts to vitamin A, a crucial nutrient for maintaining proper eyesight.
While vitamin A can be toxic when taken to excess, your body will make only as much vitamin A from the beta-carotene as it needs. This built-in safety feature could quite possibly make beta-carotene the best way to get
your vitamin A.
Vital to proper eye health, vitamin A helps transform light energy into nerve impulses in the retina. A vitamin A deficiency can cause night blindness and, in severe cases, total loss of sight.
Beta-carotene also synergistically works as an antioxidant, along with vitamin C and alpha lipoic acid, to protect the eye from damage caused by free radicals.
Lutein
Lutein is a carateniod antioxidant, which can reverse and prevent age-related macular degeneration (ARMD), long before noticeable symptoms appear. In its earliest stages ARMD is the leading cause of irreversible legal blindness among older
adults.
Lutein works in most people by increasing the density of macular pigment. It may also protect the eyes by filtering out potentially damaging forms of light.
Storage
Vision Rx Capsules should be stored away from heat and light until it is required. It can be kept in a purse, briefcase, or back pack. Ensure that the cap is tightly secured when not in use.
Usage
Adult males should take one Prostate Rx capsule each day with water or juice (in the morning at least ½ hour before or after eating). Like most herbal supplements, Prostate Rx takes time to work; optimal effectiveness should occur after 6-8 weeks
with continuous uninterrupted use.
Complimentary Therapies
Proper nutrition is vital to good health. Choose a well-balanced multivitamin and mineral. Be sure to drink plenty of water and juice, instead of coffee, tea or sodas. Avoid artificial ingredients, and prepared or packaged foods.
