Dosage Forms
Thuja Ointment is packaged in convenient 50g safety sealed opaque jars, protected from the damage caused from exposure to light.
Indications
Thuja, also known as cedar or arbor vitae, is traditionally been used externally against warts and other fungal or viral diseases. Psoriasis and rheumatism can also be treated with thuja, and it makes an excellent insect repellent as well.
Contraindications
For external use only.
Therapeutic Indications
Thuja Ointment has been the choice for centuries in the treatment of warts, corns and calluses. This antifungal formula acts as an effective counter-irritant, which soothes and heals muscle aches and pains.
Storage
Thuja Ointment should be stored in a cool, dry area until it is required.
Usage
Thuja Ointment should only be used externally. It can be applied liberally to the affected area, and thoroughly massaged in. Be sure to treat the region adjacent to the wound, as healing is occurring here
too.
If using a bandage, the amount of ointment applied should be increased. This guarantees the area being treated is still exposed to the ointment.
Complimentary Therapies
Proper nutrition is vital to good health. Drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses daily) and juice instead of coffee, tea or sodas. Try to avoid synthetic ingredients, highly concentrated in prepared or packaged foods, and take a well-balanced
multivitamin and mineral supplement.
Compression, elevation, and ice or heat can be used to alleviate discomfort. A qualified health practitioner should be consulted to confirm which is the best course of treatment for you.
