kit. The exceptional tea tree oil, distilled from the leaves of the Australian tea tree, took the natural products and pharmaceutical industries by storm in the 1980s. Tea tree ointment is an all-natural, broad range anti-septic and fungicide. It is
used for its healing and germicidal action on minor skin irritations, and abrasions. It has been effectively used as a remedy for cuts, burns, cold sores, poison oak, poison ivy, athletes foot, acne, and much more. Extensively tested and approved by
governments and regulators around the world, tea tree ointment has found a place in many conventional practitioners' treatment rooms.
Storage
Tea Tree Ointment should be stored in a cool, dry area until it is used. Once opened, refrigeration and tightly closing the cap will prolong its shelf life.
Usage
Tea Tree Ointment should only be used externally. It can be applied liberally to the affected area, and thoroughly massaged in. Be sure to treat the region adjacent to the wound, as healing is occurring here too.
If using a bandage, the amount of ointment applied should be increased. This guarantees the area being treated is still exposed to the ointment.
Complimentary Therapies
Proper nutrition is vital to good health. Drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses daily) and juice instead of coffee, tea or sodas. Try to avoid synthetic ingredients, highly concentrated in prepared or packaged foods, and take a well-balanced
